Equipped with the all-new HONOR Image Engine, the HONOR Magic5 Pro comes with the all-new Millisecond Falcon Capture algorithm, which not only allows users to take faster shots than any other phone, but also sets new industry standards in terms of imaging quality.
In order to achieve this, HONOR has established dedicated camera labs to perform quantitative and qualitative analyses, which helped develop its AI algorithm. The HONOR Magic5 Pro takes photography to a whole new level, by solving several problems with regard to shooting movies at different speeds, lighting conditions and distances, and other things. For example, the autofocus speed has increased by 245%, compared to the previous generation.
With intelligent AI recognition technology, the cutting-edge Motion Sensing AI feature of the HONOR Magic5 Pro enables users to capture the best moments in fast-moving scenarios, every time. To that end, HONOR has worked closely with Qualcomm to optimize computing by fully harnessing the CPU, GPU and NPU, boosting the cache interval by more than six times. – from 240 to 1500 ms. With a larger data cache interval and an AI network trained with more than 270,000 images, the HONOR Magic5 Pro’s camera can help users capture their magical moments more easily on the move.
A long-standing commitment to eye care innovation

HONOR Magic5 Pro supports Circadian Night Display technology and is the first smartphone to receive TÜV Rheinland Circadian Friendly certification. Night view technology based on the circadian clock brings a relaxation mode that regulates blue light and gently shifts the color temperature at night in a natural way. According to HONOR lab tests, this feature can increase melatonin secretion by more than 20% within 3 hours, which helps users get better sleep.
HONOR has long been committed to eye care innovations that are also centered around people and their own experience with their phone, starting its research into eye care technologies in 2016. During this time, HONOR researched data collected from 10,000 users to find the ideal screen dimming technology . Using this research, HONOR developed Dynamic Dimming, which has been tested to be effective in reducing eye strain by 18% after 45 minutes of use.

HONOR has invested over $20 million on quality testing equipment at the Global Compliance and Testing Center (GCTC).
